About

Built in the Caribbean, for the Caribbean.

ONE-CHAIN is a startup founded in Aruba in 2026. Its two founders bring experience from an investment-banking syndication desk, private wealth management and financial regulation in the Netherlands, together with years of building partnerships and entering markets across the Caribbean.

The thesis

The Caribbean has projects. The capital is fragmented.

Financial institutions across the region underwrite real-economy assets every day: hotel refinancings, project loans, notes for operating companies, single-property vehicles. The origination is sound and the borrowers are known. What is missing is a way for that exposure to travel.

Each island is its own small market, with its own balance-sheet limits and its own short list of investors. A facility too large for one institution is shared by phone and paper, deal by deal, while qualified investors elsewhere in the region, and in the diaspora, have no orderly way to take part.

ONE-CHAIN is the missing rail, not a new lender. The originating institution keeps the client and the underwriting. We provide the permissioned ledger on which a participation is issued as an identity-bound token, offered only to approved investors, and serviced to a single record that the issuer and its supervisor can both read.

Principles

Five rules we will not break.

They were written before the product was, and they decide what we build and what we decline to build.

  1. Everything happens inside the perimeter.

Every participant is identified, every instrument carries its own transfer rules, and every movement is recorded on the ledger. Nothing is arranged off to the side.

  2. The institution keeps the client.

We sit underneath the existing relationship as infrastructure. The originator still underwrites, still owns the mandate and still speaks to its borrower.

  3. Qualified investors only.

There is no retail participation. Eligibility is checked by the token itself before a transfer can complete, rather than left to a disclaimer.

  4. One record, no side versions.

Cash settles through the platform and the holding changes on the same ledger, so the register the issuer sees is the register the investor sees.

  5. Supervisors can look in.

The perimeter is designed so a supervising authority can be given observer access and read what happened directly, instead of asking for a report afterwards.

Founders

The two people behind the rail.

ONE-CHAIN is led by its two co-founders. One comes from finance and regulation, the other from building businesses in the region.
